Is there really a 14-day free trial?
Yes. We collect a card at signup for frictionless conversion, but we don't charge it until day 15. Cancel before then and it's free.
What counts as a "resident" or a "provider"?
Shield counts one resident per person on your protected-caller list — you can add/remove anytime. Receptionist counts providers by distinct voicemail inbox / booking calendar — not by staff headcount.
Can I switch between monthly and annual mid-subscription?
Yes. From the billing portal, choose Update plan → select annual. Stripe prorates immediately; you get a credit for the unused monthly portion.
What if I need more than the plan limits?
Enterprise scales to unlimited residents / multi-location providers with SSO. For non-standard setups (call centers, compliance-heavy industries), email [email protected].
